Our Accomodations

We live in these adorable little ranch cabins that have four bedrooms, a living room, shower, laundry, and full (but small) kitchen. They are built entirely of tongue and groove knotty pine boards and have metal roofs.

Aidan says that it is a chicken house and that Daddy made it. I guess I really did over-do the the new layer house at home. Right before we left, my best friend Dave and I completed work (excepting paint) on our latest farm building. It is an 8x8 house for Aidan's egg-laying chickens. As it came together I began to feel guilty that I was building such a nice place for the chickens when it should really be a play house for Aidan. Now I feel really guilty, because Aidan seems perfectly content to live in a chicken house.

Aidan saw a rainbow just outside our house. You may have noticed it in the exterior picture above. We went out to see it and he just kept walking towards it - someone must have told him about that pot of gold! I hope someday he finds out that he has lived his whole life at the end of a rainbow....
